DOT Inter-ministry committee accepts radiation hazard

An Inter-ministerial committee was constituted to examine the effect of EMF radiation on human health. A soft copy of the report (Inter Ministerial Committee Report on EMF Radiation) is placed on the DOT website. It is requested that feedback if any may please be sent at the following address by 25.02.2011:

They have mentioned several health hazards due to radiation and
recommended to use 1/10th of the existing radiation norms, pl see
Section 5.7, page 33.

However, according to my study and calculations, they should adopt lower than this value, which is 0.1 W/sq.meter immediately and which should
be reduced further to 0.01 W/sq.meter in 1 to 2 years, which will give
time for operators for smooth network operations.

Please spare time to go through it and educate people and write to
the above concerned people to adopt safe radiation norms.
